Summer 2022 edition of thrive. offers tips on transitioning home after a hospital stay, playing pickleball and more
July 25, 2022The Summer 2022 edition of thrive., a quarterly magazine from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, is now in the hands of members. Missed the print edition? You can find the digital edition here.
The latest edition features a comprehensive overview of how to transition home after a hospital stay.
When you are discharged, that means you no longer need services that can only be provided in a hospital setting. Often, you do not need to stay in the hospital until your condition is completely improved. Follow-up appointments with your care provider will generally be needed to stabilize, manage and/or treat new and existing conditions.
Blue Cross Medicare Advantage offers several benefits, including home delivery meals, to help members transition between care settings and to prevent a return trip to the hospital.
Here is a preview of what you and our members will find in the 2022 Summer edition:

Cultivating Community
2022 marks the 15th year that Blue Cross associates will volunteer their time and skills in our community Giving Gardens located on our Eagan and Virginia campuses. The goal is to nourish surrounding communities by donating garden-fresh vegetables to our local food pantries.
