Help during the holidays – Online resources for information about your plan
December 14, 2023With the holiday season now upon us, there may be a day when you need information after our regular business hours have ended, or when our customer service lines are closed. Here are some helpful resources that apply to the most common customer service needs.
Holiday Hours
- Monday, January 1: Medicare and Medicaid service open; all others closed
- Tuesday, January 2: All customer service lines open
What to do if you lose your ID card
It’s important to remember that you still have coverage even if your physical Member ID card is no longer in your possession.
If your original member ID card becomes lost or damaged, you can download replacement ID cards from the Blue Cross member website as long as you have already registered on the website or know your member ID number. It’s a good idea to register at Bluecrossmn.com as soon as you get your cards.
Helpful tip: Take a photo of your member ID card so the information is always easily accessible on your phone.
Where to go if you have questions about:
Claims
If you have questions regarding claims, you can visit the member log in page where you can log in to your member website and access your claims and explanations of benefits. If you are not registered, you can create an account to access your claims and explanations of benefits.
Pharmacy
If you are having issues with the auto-refill feature at your local pharmacy, contact your doctor or provider for assistance. If there are changes to your drug coverage tier, you should also contact your doctor or provider for assistance. You can also log in to your member website to search for an in-network pharmacy and covered drugs.
Premium payments
If you are on a Medicare plan or an Individual plan and you have questions about premium payments, you can visit bluecrossmn.com/Pay. While there, you can also access your eBill account to see past payments, invoices and set up autopay.
