IN PHOTOS: Scenes from grand opening of Rural Behavioral Health Clinic at Minnesota State University, Mankato
February 14, 2025The Rural Behavioral Health Clinic, located near Minnesota State University, Mankato, made possible by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota celebrated its grand opening on Feb. 5.
The clinic is now open to provide in-person mental health counseling, case management and medication management to the community. It will also serve as an academic training center for students in related fields.
Several Blue Cross leaders were on hand as the clinic officially opened its doors including:
- Brett Hart, Vice President of Behavioral Health and Mental Health Parity
- Lin Nelson, Vice President of Public Affairs
- Alison Koehler, Director of Enterprise Strategy
The service area for the clinic encompasses Minnesota’s southern central region, including Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Watonwan and Waseca counties.
